Deitra Fashion: Everyday Witch

IT'S TIME FOR HALLOWEEN — our favorite time of year — and we wanted to do another spooky photo shoot for Deitra! For the overall look, photographer Matt Loveland was inspired to do something witchy, but more subtle and less like a costume. "I guess another way I’d describe the look would be as Everyday Witch!" says Loveland.

For Chloe's eye makeup, beauty director Kristen Lentz was inspired by the overall atmosphere of Matt Loveland's vision. We used eyeshadow palettes from Jocelyn Malagon Make Up and Espionage Cosmetics, with Stila Liquid Shimmer Shadow in Starlight and Too Faced Better Than Sex Eyeliner. We finished off her look with a sultry and vampy lip color, Jordana Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lip Color in Red Velvet Cake.

"The makeup was very dramatic, it made me think of Dark Shadows," says model Chloe Massengale. "I was particularly excited for this shoot since I’ve been doing witchy/spooky photoshoots of people myself. It was nice to be on the other side of the camera, doing a more elegant and eery look. I loved the atmosphere of it all, the red hues, the lighting, the cold night." DM
